    hi there, lots of love from here. We were thinking about you both tonight as hector and iris were remembering the decorating parties you would host at Halloween and Xmas...those are things they will always remember.

    Hi Betty,
    I also just learned about your blog on our LOCVI site on FirstClass. It is a great idea! I am off on maternity leave now. Leah is almost 9 months old. I am enjoying being home with her - the time is going by too quickly, and she is growing so fast. She's pulling herself up anywhere possible, and cruising along couches and coffee tables!
    I hope you are doing ok. I remember hearing that you had become ill, but I didn't know much about ALS or its toll on the body until reading about it here on your blog. I'll keep you in my prayers!

    Chris and I wanted to say hello and to let you know we think of you often. We're doing fine here. Still in Kingston. I continue to teach at L.C. while Chris is doing some contract work from his home office. Today we took a drive to see the leaves in Prince Edward County.     Betty and Earl, by thoughts and prayers are with you both. Betty we met at the Empire Life Christmas party a few years ago when we sat at the same table. Earl and I knew eachother pretty well...after working on the same project for ages! I heard this sad news from Chris and Tammy - she worked with you, he with me... Earl, I'd love to stay in touch as we started to, but i lost your email somehow... send it to me if you'd like. My prayers are with you both and your children.

    I wanted to say thank you for holding Cleo's epipens during her dance classes at 5678. Having someone there who truely understood meant a great deal to a couple of anxious parents.

    This is Elizabeth Turcke writing to say hello and to tell you that we are all (Bob, Isla, Hana and me) thinking of you. Guess what? I am taking ballet this year!! I thank you for all of your encouragement and will try "not to think too hard"!!
    We had a great Halloween yesterday - Isla was a spider web (Hoola hoop, black fabric and silver pipe cleaners), and Hana was a lady bug (papier mache on chicken wire rigged to a back pack!!) Both were very cute!!
